Trim Press
In the development of our die casting machine line we recognized the need for a companion line of hydraulic trim presses to complement the size range we offered. Many die casting applications require secondary trimming of the cast part to complete the operation and prepare the finished part for assembly in the customer’s product.
Our trim press line was developed with the same engineering as our machine line and shares many of the advanced features including PLC based controls with accurate digital transducer stroke adjustment, memory of settings and user friendly interface with error messaging. A well-designed safety system including light curtains, interlocked guarding, non-contact push buttons and dual redundant ratchets complete the arrangement.

Features
Operator interfaces of all trim presses allow monitoring of press operation, set up, and troubleshooting in a user-friendly format.
The hydraulic systems on our machines are perhaps the best feature we offer. A high energy efficient motor and pump are located to maximize the performance and minimize noise. Separate manifolding for the clamping system, the shot system and on larger machines, the core pull and hydraulic ejector provide efficient delivery of the fluid to enable smooth, trouble free operation.
All trim presses have dual ratchet and redundant ratchet safeties, interlocked side and rear guarding, light curtain and non contact anti repeat cycle start controls.
